Plot

Lord Voldemort has returned to power and has chosen Draco Malfoy for a mission. Bellatrix Lestrange goads Severus Snape into making an Unbreakable Vow with Draco's mother, Narcissa, to protect Draco and carry out the assignment if he fails. Harry accompanies Dumbledore, so they can entice former Potions Professor Horace Slughorn to return to Hogwarts. Leaving Fred and George's new shop, Harry, Ron and Hermione notice Draco associating with Bellatrix, Fenrir Greyback and Narcissa in Borgin and Burkes. On the Hogwarts Express Harry is petrified when caught eavesdropping on Draco but Luna Lovegood saves him.

At Hogwarts, Harry and Ron borrow textbooks for Slughorn's potions class. The previous owner of Harry's copy, the "Half-Blood Prince", has annotated the book with additional instructions that allow Harry to excel in class. After making many spectacular saves as Keeper on the Gryffindor Quidditch team, Ron becomes a hero and forms a relationship with Lavender Brown, leaving Hermione heartbroken. Harry finds Hermione sobbing in the Astronomy Tower and reveals he has feelings for Ron's sister, Ginny Weasley.

Plot:

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse is a 2010 romantic-vampire film based on Stephenie Meyer's 2007 Eclipse. It is the third installment of The Twilight Saga film series, following 2008's Twilight and 2009's New Moon. Summit Entertainment greenlit the film in February 2009.Directed by David Slade, the film stars Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, and Taylor Lautner, reprising their roles as Bella Swan, Edward Cullen, and Jacob Black, respectively. Melissa Rosenberg, who penned the scripts for both Twilight and New Moon, returns as screenwriter.

Filming began on August 17, 2009, at Vancouver Film Studios, and finished in late October, with post-production began early the following month.[9] Because of scheduling conflicts, Bryce Dallas Howard was cast as Victoria, replacing Rachelle Lefevre who previously played her.

The film was released on June 30, 2010, and became the first Twilight film to be released in IMAX.

The Twilight Saga: Eclipse has become the film with the widest independent release, playing in over 4,416 theaters, surpassing its predecessor, The Twilight Saga: New Moon, which held the record since November.

Summit Entertainment released a plot summary of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse on February 20, 2009, which states:

"As Seattle is ravaged by a string of mysterious killings and a malicious vampire continues her quest for revenge, Bella once again finds herself surrounded by danger. In the midst of it all, she is forced to choose between her love for Edward and her friendship with Jacob — knowing that her decision has the potential to ignite the ageless struggle between vampire and werewolf. With her graduation quickly approaching, Bella has one more decision to make: life or death."
